About the Founder/Owner of C.P.R.I. |

Louis Shing is the founder, and lead instructor of C.P.R.I. He has been in the Emergency Services field since 1978 when he started as an Emergency Medical Technician for the New York City EMS system. He became a paramedic in 1982 and remained in the 911 system until September 2001. Mr. Shing has been teaching CPR since 1978 when he became an American Red Cross (ARC) CPR instructor, and has been an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor since 1984. Mr. Shing is currently Regional Faculty in Advanced Cardiac Life Support for the American Heart Association, and had been a member of their NYC ACLS Sub-committee. He is an instructor in all of the American Heart Association’s courses, as well as an Instructor Trainer in most of the courses given by the AHA. In addition, Mr. Shing is a NYS-DOH Certified Instructor Coordinator (#4257) for EMT and Paramedic courses. His reputation in the ECC community has been excellent, and he is a well respected instructor. His love of teaching, combined with his extensive experience makes Mr. Shing the ideal person to teach your personnel all of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) courses. |
